How do I apply to be a beta tester?
To apply to be a beta tester, simply fill out the form on our homepage.
Do I have to know when my party is in order to apply to be a beta tester?
Nope! Once you're accepted, your party can fall on any day between April 21st and July 22nd, 2017.

What's the point of beta testing?
The goal of beta testing is for us to hear from our potential customers the things they like about our product, what they don't like, any suggestions they may have, any pain points they experienced, etc. so when we launch it to the public we have the best product possible. You're the first ones to try Cloth + Gold!
When does beta testing begin?
You will be able to reserve your tablescape starting April 14th until July 18th, 2017. Your rental can then be reserved any day between April 21st and July 22nd, and your rental period is three days. So for instance, you could pick a tablescape on May 2nd for a party you want to have on June 10th. In this case, your table would be delivered on June 9th and picked up on June 11th. For this beta test, you must pick your tablescape a minimum of seven days before your party date.
How do I reserve my tablescape?
All tablescapes will be available for reservation between starting April 14th until July 18th, 2017, and you will receive instructions on how to reserve one once you're accepted. It will work similarly to online shopping where you will add your tablescape to a cart and checkout.
How big of a party can I throw?
For this beta test, the minimum order is two place settings and the maximum amount is 12 place settings.
Will I be charged for anything?
You will not be charged for anything in this beta test. It is 100% free.
What's included in the box?
Each box contains the following items:
- Linen napkins
- Charger plates
- Dinner plates
- Salad/dessert plates
- Wine glasses
- Centerpiece accessories
- A suggested menu with recipes
- A timeline to help you plan and prep so you're ready for your guests
- A suggested playlist
Do you provide the food for my party?
We do not provide any food. However, we do include a suggested menu with recipes for each tablescape that you will receive up to a week before your party.
Do you provide flowers for my centerpiece?
For some centerpieces, we may include flower vases but we do not include the actual flowers. We do however include suggestions on different types and colors of flowers that will work with your selected tablescape.
What if I have no clue how to throw a dinner party?
That's okay! We've designed our tablescapes to be foolproof and have included all of the necessary tips and tools you'll need. You'll also receive an email up to a week before your party with everything you need to know to make sure your party goes off without a hitch.
What do I do when I'm finished with my tablescape?
When your party is over, scrape any large pieces of food off plates, empty the glasses and centerpieces and follow the simple instructions to re-pack the box. There's no need to wash any dishes, we'll handle that for you. Please have your box ready for pick-up the day after your party between 8:00am-12:00pm MST.
How will I receive my reward?
Once you have completed all of the required steps of the beta test, your reward will be sent via email within three days.
